Experts have been employed to assess tree health, and this will be followed by woodland improvements before the nesting season

The Woodland area needs action this coming autumn . Expert advice was obtained to guide selective felling and pruning. Unfortunately this was delayed beyond the beginning of the bird nesting season and actual tree work is now planned to happen after September 1st. During the summer as much tidying as possible will be undertaken by volunteers, with seating cleaned, and some replaced. Path maintenance and some new routes are being planned. New information signage will be created and memorial plaques relating to the original planting with the Millenium Project will be identified to be relocated where possible.
