Patrick Hannay

Patrick is a retired architect, educator and currently editor of Touchstone the Journal for Architecture in Wales. Since being forcefully retired from Higher Education in 2011 he has been involved in many community initiatives from chairing Abergavenny Transition Town, to deep involvement in Team Abergavenny’s contribution to improving the public realm in Abergavenny’s town centre and being one of the Director of the ‘Laurie Jones Community Orchard’ and on the steering group of ‘Greener Abergavenny’. 

The Nevill Hall landscape was a massive solace to my late partner who endured pancreatic cancer at Nevill Hall but sought to go out into that landscape almost every day of her time there.
